Post Views: 1,578 I’ve covered a number of basic and advanced coverages in this members area. In this video, I discuss one of the more commonly used coverages at the college and pro level. Cover 7 is from the Nick Saban family of coverages. It’s one of the coverages more commonly used especially as of late , by the University of Alabama. It does include concepts from two other coverages that I have broken down in this members area, which are Stubbie and Stump coverage. Cover 7 attempts to give the defense an extra man advantage on both the weak side and strong side of a team’s passing formations. When run right, it is a very effective coverage, especially against trips formations. Of course, as with every coverage, there are weaknesses. Check out the video down below for my breakdown of cover 7. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me via email and cwilson@alleyesdbcamp.com. Thank you for being a member.
