Post Views: 1,542 Playing off man is another one of the arts that are becoming lost at the defensive back position. Press man has become glorified by the media and the public at large especially in this social media era. In this clip we get a clip of off man with plenty of don’ts for us to learn from. (video is at the end of this post) The proliferation of press man has come at the expense of a lot of techniques that are used in other coverages. One of those techniques is back pedaling. In the video breakdown, I talk about where the defensive back went wrong with his pedal, his upper body and his eyes in this rep vs. the WR in practice.
