Post Views: 1,808Back shoulder fades. Don’t we just love them? Of course not but that won’t stop the offense from running them so we have to know how to defend them.In today’s episode of What’d He Do Wrong, I take a post that I just made on Instgram and tell you the proper way to defend what went wrong. Jamarr Chase had an outstanding rookie season as a wide receiver. Chase is an outstanding talent and it definitely helped him to have his college quarterback working with him in his rookie season. He used that to put up some pretty gaudy numbers and help the Bengals get to the Super Bowl.In this particular clip he is working against Chavarius Ward in the high red zone. Ward actually has pretty good coverage on the play but is not able to finish because of some errors he made during the rep. I break down what went wrong and as an added bonus, I show you a video featuring a defensive back doing the right things vs. an attempted back shoulder fade so that you can get a visual on how things are actually supposed to be done in the situation.Check it out and as usual if you have any questions feel free to send an email to: cwilson@alleyesdbcamp.com.
