Post Views: 1,529 We can learn a lot from our mistakes and we will in the video of former Cowboys WR Terrance Williams in this rep vs. a San Francisco cornerback. Williams exhibits a classic speed release which is troublesome for many cornerbacks. It was troublesome for the DB in this video. I go through and identify when went wrong in the rep for the defensive back and offer you solid tips on how to defend the speed release as well as general tips for press man coverage that you can take to the bank. Winning in man coverage and in particular, press man coverage, has a lot to do with angles. Play with that in mind and you can win more times than not. Play without angles and every rep boils down to luck, athletic ability and hope. I think I know which one of those I would prefer.
