Darrelle Revis was one of the all time greats so trying to find something he did wrong is not easy.  Actually,  I just stumbled upon this one but it just goes to show that even the greats get beat.

In this clip I breakdown the importance of keeping your shoulder open so that you can keep a solid view of the receiver in man coverage or have the ability to feel the WR if you are in zone coverage.

Revis’ blunder in this clip also lends evidence to the fact that no matter how great you are,  you must use technique to win.  Revis abandon technique in this clip and from my estimation it was from either being lazy on the play or thinking he had a solid idea where TY Hilton was going and ended up being wrong.

Listen to the pointers I give you here as keeping a WR out of your blindspot has been one of the biggest things I have focused on over the last few months because it is going to be the big trend for WRs in the NFL this year due to the rise in production from guys like Antonio Brown and Michael Thomas along with Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Devante Adams.  All of the mentioned WRs are known for trying to get to the DBs back and trying to get him spun around.
