Weave - Break - Drive

A good weave is hard to find.  Getting out of breaks quickly is essential and solid eye discipline is the recipe for playmaking.  This drill sharpens all of those skills at once.

In this video,  I talk through the very important details in this all in one drill for defensive backs.  In the video,  I have DBs from Alabama (Pat Surtain Jr.), Georgia (Tyson Campbell), Vanderbilt (Dontye Carriere-Williams) and FIorida International (Christian Irving and Derail Stephens).

You get a chance to see them all go through it and perform it the way it should be done.  The key points of emphasis are (1) keeping your feet under you (2) smooth in your weave (3) two steps out of your break [plant & replace] (4) Drive your eyes to the WR out of your break.

Enjoy the video and as always if you have any questions or feedback,  feel free to email me: cwilson@alleyesdbcamp.com.
