Post Views: 1,519 I am going to let the video do most of the talking on this drill. It is a simple zone redirection drill that contains some very critical elements for it’s success. One of the things you will learn from this drill is that when you see drills online, they may look simple and very easy to duplicate but if the key elements of the drill are not given or taught to you then you are wasting time. This drill is a critical one for LBs and DBs that play in the slot. It teaches you critical elements to getting to your proper areas in zone coverage and redirecting yourself upon keys picked up by the QBs movement. When executed correctly, easy interceptions are the result as QBs eyes tend to drift to the back end of the defense as pass plays develop. Proper drops in your underneath coverage can get you into passing windows undetected by the quarterback.
