Post Views: 1,451 It’s been a minute since I did one of these What Did He Do Wrong Videos. I thought I would jump on and do one versus everyone’s favorite wide receiver Davante Adams, the newest Las Vegas Raider. Covering in the slot can be tough if you aren’t disciplined and on point. Having solid eyes and using proper body positioning + leverage is key as the entire field is a slot wide receiver’s playground. In the clip I have analyzed below, Adams is matched up against then rookie Jeffrey Okudah and we encounter what we could consider a predictable result. I am not saying that all rookies will fail vs. tough experienced receivers but I am saying that it is more likely for obvious reasons. In the video, I breakdown where Okudah went wrong on the play and what he + you can do better when you are covering man to man in the slot which admittedly is not an easy thing to do. As always, you can contact me via email with any questions or comments you have about the video at: cwilson@alleyesdbcamp.com – Thank you for being a member.
