Post Views: 1,639 There’s nothing like good safety help. There’s nothing worse than expecting help and not getting it. For coverages to work as they should, there should be a level of trust. When that trust is eroded, people start to act different. In this episode of What’d He Do Wrong, we take a look at a play in the Titans v. Browns game in 2019 which involved a deep crossing route by Tennessee that was completed in man coverage. Now of course most will say “well it was man coverage, that’s on the cornerback.” While that may be true, there are some man coverages in which the safeties are to provide help for the corners in man coverage. One of those coverages is cover 1 which is what it appears as though the Browns are playing. In this video I detail where the safety for the Browns went wrong and how it put him out of place to help on a very difficult route for a corner to cover. As usual, I will let my words in the video do the talking. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to contact me via email to: cwilson@alleyesdbcamp.com – Thank you for being a member.
