Post Views: 1,506 The Minnesota Vikings were a playoff team in 2019. By and large they played good defense during the year. However, they were plagued by missteps in the back end all season long and they often resulted in big plays for their opponents. This video is an example of some of the problems they encountered in their secondary in 2019. It also provides me with a teaching opportunity for you guys. Safety and cornerback communication is underrated. Also underrated is awareness out on the field. In this video of the Vikings’ defense vs. the Green Bay Packers, we see miscommunication and lack of awareness result in a huge gain for Davante Adams behind the Vikings secondary. I will tell you who is to blame and how the situation could have been avoided.
