Post Views: 1,661 In another installment of what did he do wrong, I take a look at an older clip from seasons ago involving DeAndre Hopkins and a Bengals cornerback in a 1-on-1 matchup. This is a good clip to analyze because there are several key things to take from where the defender went wrong and some of them are typical things that are done by cornerbacks in 1-on-1 situations. Take notes, learn from it and avoid having this be you. I am not sure if the cornerback was just being lazy on the play or if he truly did not know. Either way, don’t be lazy and if you are in this member’s area, there is no excuse for you to not know. Check out the pointers I give with regards to movement at the line of scrimmage, positioning as you start to run down the field along with talk on route recognition and more. As I said, there’s much to learn in breaking down this clip so thank you for watching this clip.
