Post Views: 1,526 I am adding a youth football section to the All Eyes DB Camp Member’s Area and thought the video below would be a good one to add to this category. This video is an oldie but goodie. How old? Well, exactly 10 years ago almost to the day. I was part of a youth football clinic for the American Youth Football League (AYFL) here in South Florida. This league has produced quite a bit of NFL football players over the course of the last decade. Both of my sons (one who is in the video) are in the NFL currently and played in this league for the West Pines Wildcats. Nevertheless, in the clinic, I went over youth football drills that you can run in practice. I went over a number of drills that I used as a youth football coach and still used as a high school football coach which is what I was at the time of this video (University School). Of note for the coaches that may be watching this, organizing your drills to get the maximum amount reps you can before your individual period is gone. There is nothing that moves faster than the time in your individual period. You never get through everything that you wanted to get through in your “Indy” period. I know you coaches know what I am talking about. Any players that may be watching this, a lot of the drills require a partner to complete because they are set up for a team practice atmosphere. So, if you are trying to do these on your own, grab a partner to get the most of out of them. Anyway, hope you enjoy it and as always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email at: cwilson@alleyesdbcamp.com – Just a note, if you send me an email and I don’t respond within 48 hours, don’t be shy about sending it again. I get a ton of emails and sometimes they end up in my spam folder with the message from the foreign minister that will make a millionaire if I send him a couple hundred dollars first. LOL.
