Post Views: 1,283 This is actually a what did they do wrong as this clip involves two guys in a sort of a motion rub concept used by the offense. The clip shows the importance of pre and post snap communication down in the red zone. Near the goal line, things happen a whole lot quicker. Whether it is the type of run play or pass plays that are occurring. Some teams will try to bully you down near the goal line and others will get tricky. In this post we will discuss the type that try to get tricky with their pass plays. In the clip I am examining for this post, the Packers are using close sets and motion to scheme a receiver open and get an easy touchdown. We all know the kind of quarterback that the Packers have and the type of wide receivers they have. They certainly have the know how and ability to get tricky. When you are facing teams that have this ability, you really have to be on high alert. In this video I talk about what the two defenders should have done to avoid the red zone trickery that they got caught up in. It’s really not even that difficult but it does take a certain amount of awareness and discipline to pull it off.
